Worth it for the charity

I was looking for some good wine that wouldn't break the bank and found Rescue Dog Wines. I saw they had free shipping if you got 6 bottles, so I picked up a couple of their Zinfandel and some Chardonnay, plus a few others to try. The prices were fair, especially since I got the shipping deal. It felt like a good way to get some wine and also contribute to something good. The wine itself was decent for what I paid, and I definitely felt like I got my money's worth, considering the charity aspect.

Good wine, great cause

I ordered a bottle of their Pinot Noir last week, and it was pretty good! I'm not a huge wine person, but it tasted nice with dinner. What I really liked is knowing that part of my money went to help out rescue animals. It's a nice feeling, you know? The website was easy to use too. It took about 4 days to get here.

Solid purchase, excellent mission

I purchased a mixed case, including their Rosé and Cabernet Sauvignon, about two weeks ago. The ordering process on their website was straightforward and intuitive; I had no issues adding items to my cart or checking out. Delivery took 6 business days to arrive in San Diego, and the packaging was sturdy, ensuring all bottles were intact. The quality of both the Rosé and the Cabernet Sauvignon exceeded my expectations for the price point. I also appreciate the clear communication regarding their charitable donations, which is a major draw for me. Their customer support was responsive when I had a question about shipping to my state before ordering. Overall, a very positive experience and I'd recommend them.

Absolutely love this store!

I got one of their Dog Themed Wine Labels for my friend's birthday and it was such a hit! The quality was fantastic, and it arrived so fast, I was really impressed. Knowing that my purchase helps rescue animals makes it even better. I will definitely be back to buy more wine and gifts for sure!

Hey, thinking about getting a few bottles. How long does shipping usually take to, say, Miami?

E Emily G. 1 week ago
Mine took about a week and a half to get to Florida last month, so probably around that for Miami too. You need someone 21+ to sign for it though, just a heads up.

Yeah, pretty standard shipping times. I think it depends on when you order, like if it's over a weekend. They're good about getting it out though.

Is there usually a first-time buyer discount? Or maybe a code for signing up for emails?

B Brian Turner 1 month ago
I'm pretty sure I got a small discount when I first signed up for their newsletter. It popped up after a few minutes on the site.

They often have some kind of intro offer. Also, if you buy 6 bottles or more, shipping is free, which can be a bigger saving than a small percentage off.

Are the wines any good? I'm debating between these and Naked Wines, but I really like the charity aspect here.

L Luke Flores 1 week ago
I've tried a few, the Pinot Noir is really decent, and their Rose is great for summer. Plus, 50% of profits go to rescues, so that's a huge bonus compared to Naked Wines, which is more about discovery.

Yeah, they're surprisingly good for a company with such a strong charity focus. I think they win awards for some of their stuff. I'd go for Rescue Dog Wines, you get good wine and help out dogs.

Just curious, is it actually a real charity thing? Or more like a small percentage? I wanna make sure my money is actually helping dogs.

J Jacob D. 2 weeks ago
Oh yeah, it's legit. They say 50% of profits go to animal rescues. I've seen them post about the organizations they support.

Super legitimate. They're a Lodi winery that makes it a core part of their business. It's not just a marketing gimmick like some places. Pretty cool actually.
